On the full moon I went to my local metaphysical shop and grabbed a few goodies, some new herbs, incense, and a session with one of the women there! After my mom went and got her energy cleansed I was beyond interested in the experience.
I went in and was unsure of what to expect, I had a little idea, but this was my first time having anything other than a tarot reading done. The woman had me lay on my back on this table that had an infrared mat underneath it, which draws out energy from you, mostly negative. She had me lay on my back with my palms up for 15 minutes. During these 15 minutes she had me think of what I wanted to release, she told me to visualize myself breathing in new energy and exhaling the bad out. I visualized the energy not only leaving through my lips but through the palms of my hands.
While I was meditating she played music and a singing bowl to keep me grounded, and while I laid there she wrote notes down. While I meditated my left arm twitched a bit at random times, and I saw the color lime green, which comes in later.
After the 15 minutes she had me sit up and we went over everything she wrote down. She informed me that my sacral, solar plexus, and throat chakra are blocked and she gave me advice on how to unblock them. For the sacral she told me yoga specifically hip stretches to keep the energy moving and unblocked. For my solar plexus she advised me to look up sun salutations and do them every morning and to work on my relationship with control whether it be too much or too little. She also told me to spend time outside in the sun and in the grass. For the throat chakra she told me to say affirmations instead of writing them down specifically one, “My voice is a vessel for pure an honest communication,” she told me to say this every morning and night.
Lastly she told me that she saw a green/teal aura surrounding me which was interesting because I saw a lime green color in like flashes. I have not done in depth research on the aura color and it’s meaning but I will soon and will probably make this a separate post.
