Haikus

Haiku is a type of Japanese poetry filled with imagery and is traditionally about nature. The traditional style is a three line poem with a 5-7-5 syllable pattern, therefore 17 syllables total.

moon and stars wander

to the corners of the sky

across galaxies

dark gray scented air

thick clouds fill the dull sky

light rain pattering

the start of autumn

brings a cozy scented breeze

and fallen leaves

open your mind love

to the possibilities

for they are endless

sweet dreams in summer

feel like airy cotton candy

on slick with sweat skin
